The first match of the 2021 ended in a rather tame defeat in Northwood as our batting subsided to 138 all out chasing 204 to win off 40 overs. Earlier in the day, OMTs were wobbling at 41-4 but a century by their number 5 rescued the innings (next best score was 27 and there were 6 batsmen in single figures) and set a total which proved beyond us despite classy looking knocks from both Sarbajeet Nag and Adnan Mohammed, who also took 2-18.
