The nine men of The Jesters fell 35 runs short at Chingford. After an opening partnership of 100 off the first 15 overs, we did remarkably well to restrict the home side to 185, thanks to Nick Mumby's 4-22 and Andrew Short's 3-21.
Hindered by two calamitous run outs, our initially promising chase fell away despite the best efforts of Oscar Howie (64), top scoring for the second year in a row on this ground, and Jake Smyth (31). Match manager Mumby will provide a fuller account soon...
