The Jesters Cricket Club are one of London’s older wandering sides, founded in 1928.
We have an extensive fixture list, including some 25-30 games in London and surrounding counties plus a midsummer tour to Hampshire & Dorset. We have members of all ages and abilities, but mainly those who've played club cricket at a reasonably strong level and now no longer wish to make the commitment required by regular league cricket.
Jesters cricket should appeal if you wish to continue playing but don’t want to tie yourself to the demands of week-in, week-out league cricket. Some of our members do play every week but others turn out no more than 2 or 3 times a season. It’s entirely up to you.
We play to win, but you certainly won’t feel at home if you are hoping to play in a highly-charged, competitive atmosphere.
If you are interested in playing, please contact our Hon. Secretary John Murphy who will provide further details.
